Special Note to
Customers with 1.03.00 to 1.03.03 Versions |
We are no longer providing updates to these
versions. However, you can download the installation package as
described in your original email. If you have lost that email simply
request a copy from
support@crimesoftware.com and we will send you the downloading
instructions.
As always there is no fee for the installation
package unless you wish to receive a new CD-Rom. Should you choose
this option call our sales department at (614) 899-2828. Please note
that the cost of the CD-Rom is $10.00 dollars which includes the
shipping & handling charge.
If you download the new
installation package follow these steps to copy your existing data
to the new installation location.
- Download and Install
SceneSearch.
- SceneSearch will be installed to
"c:\program files\Barons_Ent\SceneSearch_le"
- Open My Computer.
- Locate the directory of
"C:\SceneSearch\Data"
- Copy both of the files in this
directory.
- Locate the directory of
"c:\program files\Barons_Ent\SceneSearch_le\Data"
- Paste the files into this
directory.
- You will be prompted to
overwrite the existing files choose Yes.
- You have completed the update
process and you can now uninstall SceneSearch in Add Remove
Programs. Be careful not to uninstall SceneSearch_LE as this is
the new file.
- To obtain the most current
version follow these steps
- Launch SceneSearch
- Select Help from the menu bar
- Select Tech Support Information
or Update Version Screen
- From the Tech Support
Information form select upgrade version.
- Download the upgrade to a
location on your computer you will remember.
- Launch the upgrade by double
clicking on it.
- The upgrade will automatically
update SceneSearch.

1. Launch SceneSearch.
2. Select Help from the menu bar.
3. Select About SceneSearch 4. The
version number is displayed under the SceneSearch logo.
